first, we have migrated this newsletter over to beehiiv and have a fancy new visual design for you. wdyt?

second, we've opened up a second open coworking day at Launch House Palisades - stop by Thursdays and Fridays every week.

third, we're launching the beta version of A WHOLE DANG WEBSITE FOR IRL!

we've got a pretty exciting vision for where this can go but today it's realllly simple. you can do two things with it:

• JVKE LIVE (info) - JVKE is one of my favorite new artists. he blew up on tiktok making songs with his mom and now he's become even bigger since releasing his song Golden Hour.

• LA Ecommerce Summit (info) - LA is the ecomm mecca so this should probably be a pretty poppin summit! still have no idea what the difference between a summit and a conference is.

thursday (2/2)

• Open Coworking (RSVP) - come by the LH Palisades house for coworking! now open THURSDAYS!

• LA Tech Happy Hour (info) - exactly what it sounds like.

• Mindful Awareness (info) - UCLA is hosting an awesome meditation class every thursday. you can also join online.

friday (2/3)

• Open Coworking (RSVP) - come by the LH Palisades house for coworking!

• New Found Glory Acoustic (info) - if you were an emo kid in high school like me this is your jam. lead singer sounds like he is congested but I honestly love it.

saturday (2/4)

• Founder Wellness Day (RSVP) - stop by Launch House in the Palisades to enjoy some healthy food, drinks (including apple cider vinegar shots), IV drips, sauna/pool access, yoga, and a fireside chat on how founders can take care of their mental and physical health while building their companies! This is gonna be a big event, so don't miss it!

sunday (2/5)

• Blockbuster Pop Up Bar (info) - you heard it correctly. the nostalgic video rental brand has a bar pop up in LA. you can browse videos while sipping amazing drinks. for non-drinkers like me, they also have brunch!

looks like a pretty diverse weather forecast this week. I personally welcomed the rain and would love to see more - just not on saturday for our week

WHAT'S COMIN UP

• Launch House LA Homecoming Dinner (RSVP) - this is our first members-only dinner of the year and it's gonna be amazing. good food, good people, good vibes. if you're not a member you'll need to become one or be a +1 to a member attending. semi-formal dress code. we'll also be sharing some exciting news for what's next for launch house.

• LA Tech Week 2023 (info) - if you didn't catch it, Katia and team announced the next LA tech week (along with NYC and SF tech weeks) starting June 5th, which also happens to be my birthday! if you're a brand looking to get involved, this is your cue to reach out.
