Bonjour (gm) Los Angeles!

The troughs and hills of the weather in Los Angeles is giving me constant deja vu these days. Start on Monday with cool weather, follow it up with showers, and then end it with a drop in temperature into the end of the week. An apt parallel to the ups and downs of the financial world these days, from SBF to SVB to Credit Suisse. 

Here in LA, there's going to be a lull in events after the jump in activity from Outer Edge LA, but there's still tons of events later in the week. I also recommend prepping for all the events coming up in April. Check them out in the bottom of the email.

• Exclusive Investors - Entrepreneur Dinner - I mean...free dinner with investors? LFG?! 💸

• LA Startup & Tech Mixer 2023 - Drinks with other tech folks. You know the drill.

• Pulp Fiction at Rooftop Cinema Club - Take a break from tech and jump back into some cinematic nostalgia. Rooftop Cinema Club has films throughout the week, so check out their schedule.

• LA Showcase (Where Startups Pitch & Have Fun!) - With an all star speaker cast, come by and see what startups are up to in this market. There's also an OC one on April 1, so stay tuned.

• Farcaster Venice meetup - Farcaster's having another meetup with other web3 folks from the platform. Swing by and cast and maybe meet the founders.

friday (3/31)

• fnd - friday night dinner - If you haven't been to a Friday Night Dinner (DAO) event before, I highly recommend it. It's a nice mix of crypto/web3 + creative folks. Makes for a great social night out with new friends.

• Robotics Industry Social @GrayMatter Robotics - If you're not up for socializing with humans. Why not robots?

saturday (4/1)

• 2023 LA Beer Fest - It's all in the title. Get beer, drink it, and be festive.

sunday (4/2)

• 626 Night Market Mini @ Downtown Santa Monica (Spring 2023) - And after you're done with beer, go check out 626 for all the eats. It's also Sunday, so that's also an option if you're too soused.

WEATHER

Yup, like I said. It's cool into warmer into (rainy) cooler, as usual. Hopefully, we'll get out of that rut coming into a warmer summer!

• NFT NYC - April 2023 - NFT's are still surviving, believe it or not. In fact, PFP's are still alive too. So, time to head back to NYC?

• TECHSPO LA - April 2023 - Right here in LA, the biggest tech expo.

• E3 - June 2023 - One of the biggest video game showcases in the world in LA.

• Web Summit - Nov 2023 - The biggest tech conference in Europe is back in November.
