Sorry for the delay this week, I got caught up in GPT rabbit holes all week. Despite the fact that AI is here to stay, it doesn't look like we've seen a huge uptick in AI events in Los Angeles yet.

Otherwise, we're looking at some good startup events throughout the week for new and experienced folks. It seems like LA is just getting warmed up for summer festivities so it might be a nice chance to check out the shows and enjoy the warming weather.

• Exclusive Investors - Entrepreneur Dinner - It looks like this might be a regular thing? A dinner with investors - what better way to build relationships and get that check?

• ART x TECH x FOOD at SpaceTime Collaborative - Here's a unique one. Food, tech, and art all intersecting with AR demos and networking.

• Los Angeles Design & Development • Meetup No. 7 - Head into DTLA to meet folks in the product, tech, design, and dev universes.

• TiE Global Angels Investor Summit - Like I said, a lot of money stuff this week. But this might be a great intersection for money and builders.

• Museum of Jurassic Technology - Jump out of the networking for a bit and explore this wacky museum.

• Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure - Do yourself a favor and check out the new Basquiat exhibit. It's the first time his family has put out his art into an exhibit. The legent!

• Not much going on this week, so why not brave the cooler weather and head out for a hike in Topanga?

Finally, a valley instead of a hill. We're starting off the week in warmth and rolling into some cool weather for the weekend. And that old adage, April showers bringing May flowers isn't quite hitting LA yet.

• Web Summit - Nov 2023 - The biggest tech conference in Europe is back in November.
