Welcome to the HEAT!

Oh boy is it hot, but at least we’ve got Barbieheimer around the corner and summer parties to look forward to. Last week, we saw the hottest day the modern world has ever recorded and summer just got started! Unreal.

Meanwhile, I’ve been doing some digging into the startup ecosystem of LA, and I’d love to feature more folks like yourselves in this newsletter. Of course, there’s already great sources for that like the WeAreLATech podcast or the Product in LA podcast. Socal Tech is a solid news source for LA tech news. There’s also a ton of Telegram groups, Whatsapp groups, Discord’s, etc. out there. For such a big city, we’re so fragmented and I’m increasingly compelled to try to piece it together in my head. Any help is welcome!

Meanwhile, in terms of events, we are stacked! People want to get out, clearly. There’s stuff all up and down the coast!

Um….we’re going to hit 90 degrees on Saturday. That’s insane. But don’t let that deceive you. It’s still 60’s to 70’s at night. Prepare to fry and to freeze.
