events and weather in LA

scorch your way to strike,

As the actors and writers hit the streets this week, the streets of LA are almost on literal fire. Interestingly enough, at the same time, there are plenty more AI events this week than before. It seems LA’s tech scene got the memo on AI events! It’s unclear how this intersection will play out as the entertainment industry changes, maybe you’ll find out if you go to one of the events listed this week?

It feels like LA (& California at large) are on the precipice of massive changes to media, entertainment, and tech, and who knows what this will look like by next year? In either case, stay out of that heat and keep that SPF50 on!

  • 805 Startups VIP Lunch #49 - Pay a big ticket, but you’ll get to network with big investors and/or invest in a startup. It’s a cool format to encourage more innovation.

monday (7/24)

  • This is going to be one of the hottest days ever, so my recommendation is stay inside, keep the AC on, and get some ice cream!
